Virtual Conference mission and vision
The FleetCon 2020 Annual Convention in person event to be held August 24-26, 2020 in Loveland, Colorado has been cancelled. Many factors went into the decision by the FleetPros Executive Board and the FleetCon 2020 Committee to cancel the event. Time was taken to get input from many potential attendees to determine both their willingness to come amid COVID-19 uncertainties and their ability to attend based on their employer and budget and travel restrictions. Most respondents replied that they would not be able to attend FleetCon 2020 for a myriad of reasons.
“The FleetPros Executive Board and FleetCon 2020 Committee did not take this decision lightly but felt it is most important to keep our members safe,” expressed Harold Siguenza, President FleetPros. “We also feel it is the mission of FleetPros to create and promote open exchanges of information on experiences, ideas and methods. To that end, we will be offering monthly virtual conferences during the summer. These virtual conferences will be filled with opportunities to engage, learn, and share what is happening within fleet management. These virtual conferences are free and we invite you to attend so you can find support, share ideas and catch up with colleagues.”
We are issuing 100% refunds to all those who already paid fees to attend. If paid by credit card, the refund will be issued back to the original card used. If paid by check, a refund check will be issued. This process will be completed by June 30, 2020.
Last but definitely not least, we would like give an extensive thanks to our Diamond FleetCon Sponsors, Sourcewell and Faster Assets, along with our Gold Sponsor CGRS. With their support we are able to expand our conference offerings to include more educational opportunities, networking, awards, and membership grants.
